History

In 2006, with the goal of developing a community and programs that would develop Jewish and Israeli identity for children growing up in the US but with strong connections to Israel, we began organizing Hebrew and Israeli-style activities  including a Hebrew speaking playgroup, Hebrew immersion classes after school for pre-school and elementary school children and we added a Sunday program that incorporates Jewish holiday classes and celebrations in English and in Hebrew year round.

To develop proficiency and accommodate busy schedules many of our students enroll in 2-4 hours of instruction taken in part on the week-end and in part in several Public School District after school enrichment programs.

The children’s programs immerse our children in Hebrew and contemporary Israeli culture, while enjoying a large variety of activities including music, storytelling, arts and crafts, Jewish holiday celebrations, and special events. For adults separately there are also evenings with Israeli films, literature, lectures and plays and social opportunities in English and Hebrew.

We are building and connecting Jewish community in San Diego through Israeli Culture.  Questions?
